Madison Cowles Serna (she/they) is a queer, non-binary mixed media marketing professional, artist and author. She earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Originally from Wyoming, Cowles Serna has lived and worked in San Antonio, Texas, most of her life.

She expresses herself through painting, drawing, installation, zines, and poetry. She is passionate about creating a safe place for survivors and developing her students into thriving creative professionals.
