Silkscreen Monotype Workshop

September 22, 2018  at Lavaca Studios  -  12PM to 4PM

Participants in this workshop will be introduced to the both the processes of screen printing and monotypes. Using the silkscreen as a drawing surface, they will create colorful drawings and paintings. Each drawing can be reproduced several times, lending this process to a multitude of further possibilities. Silkscreen monotypes are fun, fast, and spontaneous. Through the workshop participants will learn basic screen printing techniques such as registration and pulling prints. The materials and process are essentially non-toxic and accessible to novices and advanced screen printers.  LIMIT OF 8 PARTICIPANTS! Sign up now! All materials are included in the fee.

Community Coloring Book Workshop

La Printeria has partnered with printmakers Madison and Alan Serna, to present a series of Family Workshops that will begin with the printing of your own coloring book cover and additional coloring pages with every future workshop - all designed by Madison and Alan.
